G-16 50th Anniversary Exhibit Car

ANNOUNCING FOR 2014
the
“G-16 50th Anniversary Exhibit Car”
by Lionel

This operating Lionel display car will be the first in a series of highly collectible traditional “O” train cars from the RMLI for 2014 and 2015.

We celebrate the 1964 – 1965 New York World’s Fair with this car, and specifically, the Allan Herschell G-16 – LIRR World’s Fair Pavilion Trainset.

The beautiful artwork, created by renown caboose artist Mr. George Wybenga, depicts the actual G-16 trainset travelling past artifacts and structures that are on exhibit at the RMLI.  Happy children and parents wave from the ride as they explore the Museum grounds!

If you enjoy the movement of Lionel’s aquarium and display cars, if you are a fan of Grand Scale Railroading – or just love riding park trains – or if you fondly remember the New York World’s Fair, this car is for you!  Truly a unique collector item, you want to have this car in your collection!
